Alam Damai Recreation Park, Kuala Lumpur

Taman Alam Damai is a public park located at the end of the Bandar Tun Razak parliamentary constituency which borders the Hulu Langat district. The 23.4 -acre park has a hilly and terraced topography. Therefore, to ensure the stability of the existing slope, the development of the landscape maintains a minimal and natural concept while providing passive and active recreational facilities for visitors. On the lower platform is the arrival hall which houses a car park and a guard hut. Along the walking path or jogging track full of forest trees, visitors will arrive at an open area that has a children’s playground, fitness station and 3 catchment pools. At the top of the pool is the axis or center to Taman Alam Damai, which is the square that connects the park with the residential area. Suitable as an area to perform group activities such as yoga, taichi and others like it. Up again the highest platform for the park is a straight path like ‘avenue’ along almost 500 meters lined with trees towards the end of the park which houses the open lawn and skateboarding plaza. The park is open from 6.00 am to 7.00 pm daily.
