5.0/51 Reviews

Paragliders Malaysia was established in 2014 as a not-for-profit social enterprise with the goal to help develop and create an equitable access to paragliding sport for youth across the country especially from suburban areas. Hitherto, it has transformed from a mere informational webpage into a full-fledged e-commerce website offering tandem flight reservation, equipment purchase and insurance registrations.

FAQs

Q How much does it cost to fly?

If you are an independent paragliding pilot, possesses your own equipment/gears then there are no operating costs other than the transport to the launch area (and of course for your own meals). Basically, that translates to almost zero operating costs. Some paragliding sites are managed by local flying club and there may be site fees to be paid but they are often very minimal, such as RM10 per-day. In order to fly independently, you need to attend and complete the basic training course.

Q Who are the registered instructors in Malaysia?

Paragliders Malaysia (PGMY) is a registered flying school and an active member of MSAF (national association overseeing air sports in Malaysia). Our instructors are certified and authorised to conduct paragliding courses. In addition, all of them complied with our strict minimum requirement of 3,000 flights and more than 8 years of active flying experience. You can find an updated list of registered instructors in Malaysia at the National Aviation Controller’s website below:

Having Tandem Paragliding annd Journey to be a Solo Pilot
5.0

Had a great time when I manage to accomplish my 100 bucket list – tandem paragliding with Yusmar Yahaya and just on training to be Solo Pilot under PGMY school. If you wish to learn paragliding and experience the Adrenaline booster activity, please give it a try Tandem Paragliding at Jugra!
